While Samsung’s smartphones have been getting a lot of software updates in the past few months, the company’s tablets have likewise started to receive the latest software patches and Android versions as well. As such, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite has recently gotten Android 12 via an OTA update.
The new update comes with software version number T225XXU1BVGB, and is now available for users in Germany and Hong Kong. The new update brings the July 2022 software patch, which comes with fixes for stability and bugs within the OS. The update also comes with One UI 4.1 and brings the tablet the latest version of Android, and should roll out to more regions soon.
Launched last year, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is an entry-level device, and comes with an 8.7-inch TFT display with a rather low 800 x 1340 Pixel resolution, a MediaTek Helio P22T chipset, up to 64GB of internal storage with micro-SD card support and 4GB of RAM, as well as an 8MP main camera and a 2MP front-facing camera.
