On August 15, Ola Electric might release a new colour variant of the S1 Pro scooter; on the same day that marks the one-year anniversary of the company. Bhavish Aggarwal, the CEO and founder of Ola Electric, posted a teaser on Twitter. The post claims that the firm will present the “greenest EV” it has ever produced, but it gives no further information or the product’s name. It is very probable that Ola Electric will release the S1 Pro scooter in the Green colour option.
Earlier this year, during the Holi festival, Ola unveiled a Gerua colour for the scooter. The Ola S1 Pro is presently available in Marshmellow, Neo Mint, Jet Black, Porcelain White, Liquid Silver, Matt Black, Coral Glam, Anthracite Grey, and Gerua.
The price of the Ola Electric S1 Pro, upon introduction in 2021, was Rs. 1.29 lakh. The scooter’s cost was raised by the manufacturer to Rs. 1.39 lakh in May of this year. Ola Electric presently sells the Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro electric scooters in India. The S1 and S1 Pro scooters were introduced by Ola on August 15th, 2021, but the delivery didn’t start until later in December.
The Ola S1 Pro electric scooter has an ARAI-certified range of 185 kilometres on a single charge. However, depending on the riding style as well as road circumstances, the actual output could differ. According to the firm, the scooter’s top speed is 115 kmph. According to the manufacturer, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 3 seconds. The Ola S1 Pro’s battery can be charged to offer a range of 75 km in 18 minutes, as opposed to the typical charger’s full charge period of up to six and a half hours.
The scooter has a twin-pod headlight up front, apron-mounted slim LED indicators, a body-coloured front fender, curved side panels, and a sleek LED taillight. Two open-face helmets can fit in the 36-litre under-seat storage compartment that is included. Other driving modes on the Ola scooter include normal, sport, and hyper, in addition to the new ECO mode. It contains features such as a 7-inch TFT display with all the required data, including navigation, in addition to functions like hill assist, voice assistant, call alert, message alert, GPS, Bluetooth connectivity, proximity lock/unlock, remote boot lock, and cruise control.

Bhavesh Aggarwal, in his Twitter post, said, “On 15th August, we’ll be revealing the greenest EV we’ve made! Any guesses?” A teaser video that he also posted depicts the outline of an electric scooter (likely the S1 Pro) against a background of trees. The video says “The greenest scooter just got greener. India, see you on August 15.”
With its headquarters in Bangalore, India, Ola Electric Mobility produces electric two-wheelers. Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu, India is home to its production facility. The parent company of Ola Cabs, ANI Technologies, formed Ola Electric in 2017 as an entirely-owned subsidiary. In order to transition to mass electric mobility, the company was founded in order to reduce the emissions and fuel dependence of Ola’s taxis. In May 2017, a pilot programme was launched in Nagpur by installing charging stations throughout the city and purchasing electric taxis, e-buses, and e-rickshaws from OEM collaborators. It declared in April 2018 that by 2022, it wants 1 million electric automobiles to be used in its taxi service.
