The official distributor of the Moto Guzzi brand in Malaysia, Didi Group, has already launched the Moto Guzzi V7 Stone for the local market.
The V7 stone features a V-twin engine that was first seen in the Moto Guzzi V85 TT adventure-tourer. It is capable of delivering 853cc with liquid-cooling, mated to a six-speed gearbox with shaft final drive. The power of the bike is 65 hp at 6,800 rpm and 73 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. The new platform also produces 80 per cent of torque as early as 3,000rpm.
Moto Guzzi also claims the seats have been redesigned to present better comfort including a ‘footpeg’ which now provides better support. Rear tyre sizing also increased, with the rear 17-inch rear wheel now featuring a 150/70 tyre while the front wheel remains at 18-inches wearing 100/80 rubber.
Among the other upgrades that were also introduced was the use of new LED lights, LCD digital screen display as well as aluminium rims with larger rear tires, 150/70.
