2023 Ducati Streetfighter V4 Set To Bear Subtle-but-Significant Updates

Spy shots of the 2023 Ducati Streetfighter V4 have surfaced on the internet. The motorcycle bears some subtle-but-significant changes and will be part of the company’s seven launches scheduled in the next three months. To jog your memory, we already know about two other new Ducati bikes - the 2023 Scrambler and the Monster SP.

The first Streetfighter V4 followed in the footsteps of the Panigale V4 and the 2023 version will be no different. The ‘23 Streetfighter V4 will boast a redesigned fuel tank with more storage capacity as well as a more ergonomic shape.

In addition, the motorcycle should also borrow the chassis updates from the Panigale (more comfy riding position and higher swingarm), besides the updated TFT instrument cluster. Expect a new layout and riding modes from the latter.

Like the ergos, it’s only fair to expect other Panigale updates to trickle down to the naked, too. Accordingly, the new Streetfighter will have a reworked gear ratio focusing on acceleration, alongside a redesigned oil-cooler and exhaust. While all this will make the motorcycle better, you shouldn’t expect it to make any more than the 208 horsepower already on offer.

Finally, the Streetfighter will come with minor aesthetic tweaks too. For its latest update, the Panigale gained subtle graphics while the S variant got a two-tone seat, and this should also be the case for its naked sibling. Plus, the wings appear longer in the spy shots but it could just be the angle, so we aren’t making conclusions just yet.

Apart from all this, the V4 naked will retain its suspension (Showa forks and Sachs monoshock) and the Brembo brakes as it is. Likewise, the V4 S will continue to employ Ohlins and higher-spec Brembos.

Judging from Ducati’s cryptic titles, we believe the updated Streetfighter V4 will break cover on October 20, 2022, at the “Push Forward” premiere. Take this with a pinch of salt, though.
