Kawasaki has silently updated its Ninja ZX-10R supersport motorcycle in India with new colors and graphics. The bike comes at a price tag of Rs 15.99 lakh (ex-showroom India).
The updated Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R gets a new Pearl Robotic White skin that features a bit of green & grey highlights and a whole lot of black & white, accentuating the supersport’s aggressive appeal. Apart from the new color scheme, the existing Lime Green shade is also available but with mild changes in the graphics.
Aside from the revised color palette, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R remains unchanged. Its features list includes full-LED lighting system, a Bluetooth-enabled 4.3-inch TFT rider’s display, multiple riding modes, a bi-directional quick-shifter, traction control system, cruise control, cornering management system, launch control, engine brake control, and power modes.
At the heart of the Kawasaki ZX-10R resides a 998cc, in-line 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor, churning out a maximum power output of 203PS at 13,200rpm and a peak torque of 114.9Nm at 11,400rpm. The power is directed to the rear wheels via a 6-speed transmission. Underpinnings of the bike comprise a Showa BFF (Balance Free Fork) at the front and a horizontal back-link mono-shock at the rear.
Currently, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is one of the most affordable liter-class supersport motorcycles in India that take on the likes of Ducati Panigale V2 (Rs 19.49 lakh), Panigale V4 (Rs 26.49 – 40.99 lakh), BMW S 1000 RR (Rs 19.75 – 23.95 lakh), and Honda CBR1000RR-R (Rs 23.11 – 23.63 lakh).
