The BokaroThermal police have arrested four persons, including a minor, for allegedly stealing 7 computers, CPUs, monitors, keyboards and other articles from a Rajendra High school, Jarangdih under BokaroThermal police station here on Friday.
The police also recovered TFT monitors 7 pc, thin clients 5 pc, key board 5 pc, mouse 1pc, adopter 2pc, one motorcycle and other articles from them.
Inspector cum Officer in charge of Bokaro Thermal police station said that on Friday busted a gang of four men, included two minor involved in stealing computers from schools in Jarangdih in Bokaro district, in the last May month.
Officer said the all four youths included two minors have been identified as age group of 14 years old and 17 years old, while two others namely Chandrika Turi and Furkan Ansari.
Two minors and one Chandrika Turi belonging to mines rescue ststion Karhara while Furkan from Asanapani in Gomia block.
The police team, led by inspector Sailesh Kumar Chauhan, SI's Prince Kumar, Amit Kumar, Vikrant Munda, Ajay Yadav, and Prabhas Kumar Barnawal made the arrests.
Inspector Sailesh Kumar Chauhan said that on May 3/4 this year, the gang had stolen computers and other valuables from a Rajendra High school in Jarandih in Bokaro . “During investigations, we got information about the gang and laid a trap to nab them,” he said.
The arrested youths admitted to their involvement in the thefts during interrogation. “We have recovered the stolen computers from their possession.
